About

I'm an illustrator and printmaker based in Bristol, UK, where I work in my spare room studio. I don't have the room for a big fancy printing press, so I hand burnish all my prints with a tea spoon. I'm heavily inspired by wildlife and the natural world, and my time spent wandering the countryside and growing veg motivates my personal work, which I sell through my shop. I'm also a huge fan of history and food, so I'm very happy that a lot of my commissioned work is done for historical and food-based publications.

I've been mostly vegetarian since 2010 and mostly vegan since 2017. I've never been super strict about either, but I think that at least being vegan at home is going some way to lessen my impact on animals and the environment.

Most of the recipes on here are seasonal and inspired by gluts of vegetables from our allotment. All the recipes and illustrations were created by me, unless stated otherwise.
